BitSMS is the SMS gateway built by BitCommerz
We build commerce software for Bangladeshi businesses in Dhaka. BitSMS grew out of what our own merchants needed: SMS that arrives, and proof of what happened to it.
Why we built it
Online shops send OTPs and order updates all day long. When a single SMS route slows down, customers cannot log in or do not know their order shipped, and the shop rarely finds out why. BitSMS puts several routes behind one API, watches their health per operator, moves traffic when a route struggles, and keeps a trace of every message so support teams can answer "did it arrive?" in seconds.
What we hold ourselves to
- Honest billing: if no route accepts a message, you get the credit back automatically.
- Clear records: every message has a trace you can read, not a black box.
- Security first: provider credentials encrypted, numbers masked in our logs, two-factor sign-in.
- Bangla as a first language, in the product and in support.
